Johanna

Born and raised in San Francisco, Johanna can relate to Bay Area students on an academic and personal level. A graduate of Lowell High School, she understands the unique challenges and opportunities of the competitive academic environment many students face today. With experience mentoring students of all ages, she understands that compassion and positivity can help students thrive. Johanna is excited to support students as they develop their reading, writing, and critical thinking skills. 

Johanna graduated from UC Davis with honors in International Relations and French. She received her JD from UC Law San Francisco and her LLM in European Law from Université Panthéon-Assas Paris II. Along with almost a decade of legal experience, Johanna has worked as a leadership consultant, a teaching assistant, and a bookseller. 

Johanna is a member of two bookclubs, an author, and loves helping her friends find their next great read. Her favorite way to spend a weekend afternoon is exploring San Francisco with her husband and their dog.
