“Kyle not only helped improve my grade, but he really helped me understand the ideas behind what we were learning in my geometry class. He’s awesome!”

Kyle believes that helping students with math shapes the way that they look at the world and helps build confidence in problem solving at large. He often likes to draw an analogy between building a stable structure and learning mathematics, which relies on establishing a strong foundation of quantitative basics first and foremost. Catching students early in their academic path allows us to repair areas of instability so that they can be prepared for success.

Kyle graduated with honors from UC Berkeley where he studied economics. After a short career in finance, he switched gears for an entrepreneurial path. He has started three businesses with his wife that they continue to operate.

Though Kyle grew up surfing competitively, and sustained a professional surfing career before going off to college, his days are now filled with applied problem solving both for his entrepreneurial endeavors and tutoring. When he's not solving problems, he's embedding himself in nature through surfing, sailing, and hiking.
