Nikki’s teaching style is naturally oriented toward developing critical thinking and mathematical reasoning skills, and he excels at adapting curriculum to best suit the needs of each student. Driven by a passion for music and math, he shares his interests with his students to spark a lifelong curiosity.

Nikki received his B.A in Journalism & Music from NYU, and his M.A in Education from USF. As a credentialed, full time STEM teacher, he has amassed a variety of resources and techniques to deliver content to students, all centered around culturally responsive humanizing pedagogy—using a student’s identity to fuel their educational experience. His teaching style naturally builds a students’ critical thinking and mathematical reasoning skills, and he excels at adapting curriculum to best suit the needs of his students. 

Outside the classroom, Nikki takes on a variety of roles in music production including audio engineering, film scoring, and songwriting. He is fascinated by the science connecting music and emotion. He has a cat named Rosie who is the real boss of his household, and he enjoys going to indoor rock climbing gyms to let off steam.
