Zoe has been a humanities teacher at The Bay School, a private high school in San Francisco, since 2017. In this role, she has worked with hundreds of high school students to hone their writing craft. She teaches classes on civic engagement, philosophy, theology, theater, and American history and literature. She values a student-centered, curiosity-driven approach that prioritizes skill development alongside social-emotional learning. Her dedication to holistic education ensures that students not only master content, but also acquire the self-awareness and communication tools needed to thrive in a complex world.
​Zoe holds a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Inquiry from the California Institute of Integral Studies (specializing in Performance Art and Social Justice), as well as a Single Subject Teaching Credential in Social Science from San Francisco State University. Her training underscores a commitment to interdisciplinary pedagogy, bridging creative expression with critical social inquiry.
Zoe lives with her husband, toddler, and dog. As a family, they love spending time in nature and being silly.
